  • Knowledgeable and Accessible Immigration Attorney

“Result: Application for adjustment of status to permanent resident (“green card”) approved Robert Milla has been our attorney for years as my wife and I waited and waited for DOMA to be struck down and he was right there the minute it happened to represent us in attaining her Permanent Resident Status. We couldn’t be happier with Robert's expertise, availability to talk with us and answer all our questions and skillfully represent us throughout the past few years of this important process. I highly recommend him to any family with immigration issues. He is very knowledgeable and accessible to his clients.”

  • Impressive work and professionalism.

“My husband and I had a very complicated I601 and I212 waiver case and had to hire an attorney no matter what. We searched online for weeks trying to find the best one since we were living in Costa Rica and wanted an attorney from Chicago. We hired Robert after reading his impressive curriculum and experience, plus he did not have any issues with the bar. I am a Costa Rican citizen married to a USC. All of our communication was done over the phone and email but that didn't make it less personal. I am a complete "worrier", I worry about every single thing that can go wrong and I ask a ton of questions. He was always happy to answer them in a timely manner. With Robert's guidance and expertise we were able to put together a very strong argument as to why my husband couldn't live in Costa Rica and why he needed me with him. Although this is the truth, it is extremely hard to know how to accurately prove this to USCIS, you really have to know how the waiver process works and doing it without a responsible and honest lawyer is not what would recommend to ANYONE. Robert helped us file the waiver and it was approved today, November 21st 2013!!! I WOULD ABSOLUTELY, HANDS DOWN recommend Attorney Robert Milla for any immigration matter, he knows what he is doing and has the experience needed to win cases. My husband and I will be forever thankful to Robert for bringing us together again”

  • HIGHLY RECOMMEND! EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!

“I highly recommend Milla & Associates LLC for all immigration cases. Attorney Robert Milla and Attorney Lauren McGee were always available to answer my questions. The overall staff was great! If my assistant wasn't available to answer my questions the receptionist was always so kind to answer my question. I had a marriage based case which was approved the same week I had the interview. I will definitely use their services again for my citizenship case!”

  • Robert, he was calm, supportive and had a lot of knowledge ...

“My husband applied for my green card and we prepared the documents on our own, but unfortunately I got an RFE for the same documents which we had already submitted. So we thought of hiring a good lawyer for our case, I called up a few lawyers and explained them my case to get 1 free initial consultation, out of the ones we called, I really liked Robert, he was calm, supportive and had a lot of knowledge on such cases. I quickly decided that I would go with him for my case. We met him the next day and discussed our case in detail, soon after we got a list of documents that were needed by his office, we promptly replied, he prepared our case again , we had dew meetings in between and finally my case was approved, He also helped a lot with our interview preparation and also came with us to the interview venue , where he spent more than 2 hours with us explaining the process, he also appeared with us in the interview and was a great support. I finally cleared the interview under his expert guidance. I would definitely recommend him to my friends.”

  • The best legal group I've ever had the pleasure of working with in my life.

“Justin Hoefflicker and his team went above and beyond to help us every step of the way. We are a small digital health startup, and without Justin, our company would potentially not be able to continue operations. He helped us secure an H1B visa for our Technical Co-Founder, and went above and beyond through preparation of materials, explaining the process, answering a million follow-up questions (that's an understatement), taking the time to meet and discuss contingencies when he absolutely didn't have to, helping us file a complete Request-for-Evidence (RFE) and not charging us for the additional work, and ultimately, helping us secure the H1B in the end. Even if we hadn't gotten the H1B, I'd still be submitting this review as it's fully merited and Milla & Associates is by far the best legal group I've ever worked with. They're honest, they actually care, they do great legal work at appropriate rates, they actually follow through, they get everything done on time, and they go above and beyond to make sure expectations are set correctly in what can be a very difficult and touchy legal-sphere (immigration). I am extremely grateful for having had the opportunity to work with them, and I wish we had a similar experience with every legal group we had to work with. Thank you Justin and team.”

  • Robert is more then a attorney, he becomes a friend through ...

“My husband and I have been working with Robert for many years and he has always been patient with us and will only do thing if were comfortable with them. He is very thorough and takes his time in explaining things, we could have not had a better attorney to assist us on my husband petition. He truly was blessing and we would recommend him to anyone!”
